COL 101-MATH - Math 095 Merit Program - 1 Credit Hour

Course Description
This is a college success seminar designed for intermediate algebra students.  In addition to attending their own regularly scheduled Math 095 classes, students enrolled in the Math 095 Merit program will spend 2 1/2 hours per week meeting with their merit classmates.  By working closely with instructors and classmates on challenging problems that supplement course material, students will gain a deeper understanding of the mathematical concepts covered in Math 095.  The Math 095 Merit program is neither a remediation nor a tutoring program; it is a supplemental instruction program designed to help ensure student success in Math 095.
