Math 095 - Intermediate Algebra - 4 Credit Hours - 4 Lecture Hours
Course Description
This is a course in intermediate algebra. It is a prerequisite for transferable college mathematics courses. Topics covered include functions and graphs, systems of linear equations, one- and two-variable inequalities, roots and radicals, complex numbers, and quadratic functions. Emphasis is placed on the development of algebraic skills.Prerequisite

Additional Comments
All Math 095 students are given the same comprehensive departmental final exam. The exam consists of approximately 5 free-response problems and 40 multiple-choice problems. All exam problems are based directly on the course objectives. The individual classroom instructor is responsible for all other tests, quizzes, and assignments.All Monday-Thursday daytime sections of Math 095 take their finals at the same time. Evening, Friday, and weekend sections follow the regular final exam schedule. Check the official final exam schedule!
Each student is required to have a scientific calculator. Individual instructors may require the TI-83/84 Graphing Calculator.
