Course Description
This course provides a background in mathematics for the student who does not feel confident in the mastery of arithmetic skills. Topics covered include operations on whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; percents; and ratio and proportion.

The course covers chapters 1-5. Other sections may be covered at the instructor's discretion.

Math 080 is a course in basic arithmetic skills. Use of calculators is prohibited or strongly discouraged.
